How does exchanging PASS work for subscribers?

PASS is a point system created by WisePass. It can be redeemed by WisePass subscribers in exchange for drinks at venues or at events to access products or activities.

The amount of daily PASS a subscriber has access to varies depending on their subscription plan and ranges from 3 PASS per day to 100 PASS per day. Drinks at venues range from 3 PASS for a beer up to 100 PASS for an entire bottle.

How can I use my PASS?

Exchanging PASS at a venue is easy. Simply use your WisePass app to scan the QR code placed at the venue - it should look something like the following, lit up for your convenience.

Once scanned, you should find options for drinks you can redeem PASS for at that specific venue. For example, at our event The Fashionista Edition 6, subscribers could redeem 3 PASS for a glass of Jacob’s Creek rosé. At the bottom of the screen, you should see a sliding bar which you swipe across to redeem the number of PASS and gain access to the product specified

How many venues in HCMC do you have?

We aim to offer our subscribers a chance to explore exciting new venues whilst enjoying the opportunity to indulge in the venue’s beverages offered by WisePass. This is why WisePass has over 20 venues across Ho Chi Minh City with the vision to expand, adding more venues especially for subscribers regularly.

Do I need to spend a minimum amount when I redeem an item?

Once redeemed, it is a decision of the venues to include a minimum spend with each item redeemed. At Layla, the minimum spend is 500,000 VND. If you’re going to Original Bar, the minimum spend 150,000 VND.

Aside from drinks, what else can you redeem with WisePass?

PASS can also be exchanged for entry to events and for activities at events exclusive to subscribers, such as make up sessions or facials at our event series, The Fashionista, or drinks from brands sponsoring the event, such as Jacob’s Creek wine or The Singleton whiskey.

In summary, PASS work as an equivalent to a digital voucher worth a drink or another product; the higher amount of PASS a product requires to redeem correlates to its relative worth.

For example, at our venue Summer Experiment you are able to exchange 100 PASS for an entire bottle of Ballantine’s Finest.
